About Us

Party Maroc are a creative and driven group of professionals with a passion for creating jaw-dropping occasions. Our team is made up of event co-ordinators, designers and hotel owners. With over four decades’ worth of collective industry experience, we know a thing or two about throwing unforgettable events.

Moving to Marrakech to live and work, we knew straight away that this was the ultimate destination for an event. The Red City is wild, fun, buzzing, beautiful but it can also be tranquil, serene and idyllic.
We decided that this was where memories would be made – not just for us – but for anyone who wanted to celebrate a special moment in their lives. And so Party Maroc was born and since then, we’re all about creating the most breathtaking events that this country has ever seen.

While creating the perfect party is in our DNA, we also want to show off the best that this crazy, beautiful country has to offer. Morocco is a country unlike any other. So close to Europe, but worlds apart at the same time. Combining the ancient with the modern isn’t always straight forward, but Morocco has created a deeply spiritual but innovative and enterprising nation. Its beauty is seen everywhere – in nature amongst the mountains, valleys, waterfalls and deserts; in its architecture – temples, souks and riads and in its people whose kindness, humility and friendliness welcome you with open arms.

We’re experts in wedding planning, corporate launches, engagement parties, birthday celebrations, conferences. Anything that requires intense organisation, communication and imagination – we’re in our element!

Meryanne Loum-Martin

Meryanne discovered Marrakech in 1985. It was here that she built and designed her first house in the following year, with her style having enormous coverage in the press worldwide. Her party planning abilities began back in December 1989 when she gathered friends from all over the world for a memorable costume party. This 4-day event gave her the reputation of a creative hostess and an achieved party planner. She later left her career as a Parisian lawyer to become a hotelier and interior designer in Marrakech. For the last 25 years, she has designed weddings, anniversaries and birthdays for her guests, friends, and clients. Naturally, it was time to join forces with her esteemed friends and start Party Maroc: a one stop party business in Marrakech.

Alex Peto

Alex Peto was born in London and attended schools in England until 1991. Thereafter, he spent a year in Seville and Aix en Provence learning languages. Alex started his working career in 1993 as an estate agent for a London based boutique agency where he remained for 21 years selling the best houses London had to offer. In a rising market, fuelled by foreign clients, Alex became accustomed to meeting a demanding clientele with high specifications – he also looked after their foreign properties in Morocco, Europe and the Caribbean. In 2014 Alex moved to Marrakech to continue working in the property market with Kensington Luxury Properties. It’s Alex’s high knowledge of the Riads, Villas, Hotels and Palaces in Marrakech that makes him the venue expert at Party Maroc.

Maria Peto

Maria believes that ethics, honesty and accountability are the key in creating your reputation and a solid ground for our business. Such qualities have been developed during her career of almost 18 years with EY in Sofia and Sao Paulo. The decision to turn her passion for party planning and photography into a career came after deciding to move to Morocco and leave her job as partner with EY Sao Paulo. Maria personally takes care of clients enquiries. She ensures that we offer the finest vendors regardless of budget, making sure we provide exceptional value for your investment. She can add practical advice, cultural expertise, effective communication and creativity to your event and at the same time, exceed expectations whilst handling all the details.
